Overview
Tharpu Chuli with an estimated height of 5,695 meters is located south of the Annapurna Base Camp and is known as Tent Peak in English. Considered one of the easier peaks among the climbing peaks, Tharpu Chuli is one of the most well-liked and admired trekking peaks in the Annapurna Region. Our trek shall lead us into the diverse Annapurna region full of distinctive species of flora and fauna. We shall come across several steep ridges that make our climbing appealing and demanding, especially for new climbers/trekkers.
Overview of Tharpu Chuli (Tent) Peak Climbing
Our 18-day trip to Tharpu Chuli (Tent) Peak shall begin and end in Kathmandu. But the genuine launch of our trek is from a place known as Nayapul situated near Pokhara; the gorgeous ‘Lake City’. The main objective of our entire Peak Climbing is to summit the Tharpu Chuli Peak. Which in response presents us with distinct panoramic sights of the Himalayas together with the Annapurna range.
We shall begin our trekking from here onwards following the trekking paths. The paths that pass through conventional Gurung villages; are tranquil woodlands full of Rhododendrons towards Dobhan via Chhomrong and Ghandruk. Itinerary
Today is your first day in Kathmandu. We will pick you up from the TIA Airport and transport you to Kathmandu’s three-star hotel. Make sure you have all the necessary documentation, so we can take care of everything. You may relax and eat well today. We will be making plans for the next Tent Peak Climbing days on this day.
We will tour several historical sites in Kathmandu on this day. Likewise, we will be trying different traditional Nepalese cuisines. Secondly, we will visit Pashupatinath after enjoying a delicious breakfast. As one of Hinduism’s most revered holy places, the spiritual aura of Pashupatinath will invigorate you and fill you with beautiful vibrations. Then we’ll go to “Swaymbhunath,” the Monkey Temple.
Moreover, the monasteries in this area have an old-world charm. We will go to Kathmandu Durbar Square after shooting photographs and witnessing many cultural elements. The historic temples and the king’s palace will transport you to Nepal’s past. We’ll have fun in Thamel at night. Similarly, we will plan and prepare for the next day for Tent Climbing Peak.
We will leave Kathmandu for Pokhara after having the occasional breakfast. A tourist bus or a cab is also an option. Tourist buses will also be less costly than taxis. We’re set for the six-hour drive to Pokhara now that we’ve packed everything. We’ll stop at several rest stops along the trip to Pokhara for food and take in the sights.
We will reach Pokhara through a route winding through lush mountains. Moreover, we’ll stay in a three-star hotel in Pokhara after reaching Kathmandu and taking in the city’s vibrant nightlife. For Tent Peak Climbing, we will spend the night in Pokhara, having an excellent supper and a good night’s sleep.

Today’s excursion to Dobhan is propelled by a glorious morning and a delicious breakfast. This day’s trek will last around 5 hours and achieve a maximum elevation of around 2,600 meters. The trial would be extravagant and fascinating after the Sinuwa Dada.
Correspondingly, the Chhomrong to Dobhan trek distance is flanked by ivy, pine, willow, and rhododendron forest, which grows denser around Sinuwa until you reach teahouses and Gurung Villages. We will arrive at Dobhan after a 5- to 6-hour trek. Today, we’ll spend the night in Dobhan observing stars if the weather cooperates.
This will be an exciting day for us. We will encounter various fauna and plants as we begin our trip from Dobhan to Deurali. In addition, as we progress from Hinku Khola, we shall pass through lovely villages. Similarly, we shall see intensifying streams as we move through the clouds. With the proper permit and documents, we will also be able to enter the Annapurna Conservation Area.
Moreover, it takes around 2 hours to trek from Dobhan to Deurali, where you may appreciate the rich biodiversity of the Modi Khola and willow jungle. Likewise, we will make our way towards the alpine area; the forest becomes narrower and narrower until they reach the timber row, where you can witness shrubs and desolate terrain. Finally, we will be in Deurali in less than two hours. We’ll spend the night at Deurali today.
We’ll trek to Macchapuchre Base Camp after enjoying a lovely breakfast at Deurali’s lodges. The trial is going to be incredible. We are greeted with a grin by the snow-capped mountains. The morning meal will boost our enthusiasm for Tent Peak Climbing. On our day trek, we stroll the glacier with spectacular views of Dhaulagiri, Machhapuchhre, and other mountains. We’ll eat lunch along the route and continue trekking until we reach the high camp to spend the night.
We will ascend to the tent summit after an excellent breakfast in the morning. We also have a lengthy and straight-uphill course to complete on this day. We’ll need additional energy to keep our travel balanced on this day. Furthermore, before the journey, we will be able to transport water bottles and a substantial amount of food. We’ll leisurely travel towards Pokhara after arriving at Nayapul, where we’ll spend the night. We will spend the evening in Pokhara touring and sightseeing if we have enough time.
We’ll be heading for Kathmandu morning after a very gratifying night in a three-star hotel in Pokhara. The tourist bus will securely transport us to Kathmandu. The steep roads will take about 6 hours to drive. On the way, we’ll stop for some food. Today, we will spend the night in Kathmandu and enjoy a small farewell party in Thamel.
We will be able to drop you off at the airport with the necessary documentation and tickets. After breakfast, we will pick you up in our car and securely drop you off at the airport. Furthermore, you can safely return home or on your next excursion.
