The Annapurna Region Trekking is the moderate trekking which requires no age limit but good health of the trekkers to complete the trek. It is regarded as a paradise that offers beautiful views of the mountains and wonders of nature. Also known to be the natural habitat of hundreds of magnificent animals and birds, the government of Nepal has declared the Annapurna region as one of the conservation areas. Taking us through lush green foothills, barren of the world’s deepest Kaligandaki gorge, and subtropical forest adorned with rhododendrons and other wildflowers, it showcases other unique species of flora and fauna. Trekkers can choose to make the trip camp-based (food and overnight stays in camps set up by the trekking support crew) or lodge-based (food and overnight stays in lodges). This is regarded as an easy trek relatively, but you can see the magnificent Himalayan range surrounding it. Major mountain ranges like Annapurna Range, Dhaulagiri Range, and Machhapuchhre- the most beautiful mountain of fish-tail shapes seen from the city of Pokhara are seen during this trail.
Annapurna trekking covers a wide range of cultural and geographical varieties and showcases every little aspect of its natural and cultural prosperity. The lifestyle and tradition of the inhabitants in the Annapurna region is fascinating. Even the remote villages on this trail offer sophisticated lodges and guest houses eagerly waiting to serve the tourists with enormous hospitality. Green paddy fields, rich forests, hot springs, and glacial areas are some of the little attractions of this trekking. Major mountains and Himalaya ranges seen during this trail are Annapurna III, Annapurna II, Tilicho, Machhapuchhre, and Dhaulagiri. Capturing the views of all these Himalayan ranges and mountains from Poonhill station is a heavenly experience. Poonhill station provides magnificent sunrise and sunset views of these mountains.
